This page provides links that were helpful to us when we were getting to know the area and will give you some direction when planning your trip to Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne River, the Sierra Nevada and California's Gold Country and Rainbow falls (a popular fishing swimming, hiking and picnicking spot on the way to Yosemite)

Groveland Branch of the Tuolumne County Library: Open Mondays-Thursdays from 2-6 and Friday & Saturdays from 10-2. Check their website for events and bookmobile schedule.

Groveland-Yosemite Gateway Museum: Located in Groveland, is a charming little museum and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon (open 1-4:30) catching up on a bit of local history.

Jwire: For those who need to use their computers while traveling, you can find hotspot locations on JiWire.com

Online Highways: provides some useful links and tools for finding your way around California, the State Parks and Lodging. Many links to additional information can be found at this website. A good tool for trip planning.

Our Mountain Town: A quick overview of most things Groveland related. Maintained by ReMax and published for the person considering relocating to the region, but still quite handy to the tourist with topics ranging from weather to whitewater river rafting.

PML Voice: This link takes you to a discussion board of all things PML related, lots of entries on the success of the 4th of July picnic at the stables, the nice amenities of the association along with some discussion and varying points of view on running this large facility.

Sierra Gateway Map offers an online tour, an interactive website for those interested in travel details regarding the scenic Sierra Nevada! Visit SierraGatewayMap.com for a comprehensive overview of what to do in the area.

Silver-Creek Dj & Dance: This is the website of Jamie Hogan, a line dance instructor and DJ. Jamie is relocating from Redwood City to the Gold Country and will be expanding her event business to the Sierra Nevada region. Jamie worked our New Year's Eve party in 2004 and we can't wait to get her for another Hotel Charlotte Gala!

Sugar Pine Railroad: For those who love little railroads and historical routes, this is a marvelous daytrip when based from Groveland (or do the train on your way into or out of Groveland) and will delight the whole family—kids and adults alike!

Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau offers resources, links, events, services and more to visitors. Surf this site for more ideas on unique things to do while visiting..

The Union Democrat: This is the online version of the Tuolumne County daily newspaper.

The Wedding Directory: We are a proud member of this resource guide for all things wedding related, search by county. Groveland makes a fantastic setting for a wedding. Get married at Mountain Sage, Pine Mountain Lake or Yosemite then celebrate at the Charlotte. You will find affordable accommodations and reception options throughout town.  This photo was from a wedding we hosted in November, see what one of the guests had to say on Tripadvisor

Yosemite Chamber of CommerceYosemite Chamber of Commerce: A resource for all things Yosemite related. The are building a new events website that will encompass all happenings in the park and Yosemite Gateway towns.

Yosemite Lodgings: A marketing group of lodging properties along the Big Oak entrance to Yosemite. If you can't find what you are looking for at the Hotel Charlotte, consider one of the other properties along Highway 120.

Try cowboy.com for related services in the area, stables, food, lodging, trails and oodles more!

Yosemite National Park visitor views: Learn more about exploring the park from others experiences and writings.  "As I looked, a peculiar sensation seemed to fill my whole being," wrote the militiaman. "And I found my eyes in tears with emotion...."
